Session on "Building Up Investor Ready Pitch Deck"
The session on "Building Up Investor Ready Pitch Deck" was taken by Ms.Priyanka Madnani and was organized by AIC-RNTU Foundation for the participating startups of Discover Cohort 2023. The session started understanding of pitch is, how it's different with pitch deck and Business plan. Ms. Priyanka explained this, "Communicating the value your business/product is going to provide is pitch."Ms. Priyanka also explained types of pitched i.e. One liner pitch, elevator pitch and Business Plan separately.Ms. Priyanka also walked everyone through the essential parts of a pitch deck: Problem,Solution, Team, Market, Product/Technology, Business Model, Traction, Competition,Ask/Valuation.Then, Ms. Priyanka also expressed why 65% startups get rejected is due to no proper pitch deck.Concluding the session, Ms. Priyanka highlighted major major things investors look in a pitch deck:
