Session on Termsheet, SHA and Valuation

AIC-RNTU Foundation organized a training session on Termsheet, SHA and Valuation by Mr. Vikrant Potnis, Founder, FundEnable & Indian Academy of Venture Capital for the participant startups of Dream Startup Challenge 2023-2024.
Mr. Vikrant started the session by explaining how maintaining and keeping track of Documents and Valuation is important before investing in companies and discussed about various methods of valuation. Also Mr. Vikrant talked about the following points to be remembered while calculating the valuation of companies "Investing in companies through Transaction Comparable Method Discussed about MRR & ARR Collecting Data various platforms Use of funds clause Steps in investing Mr. Vikrant concluded the session by stating that a Shareholders' Agreement (SHA) is crucial for a startup as it defines the rights, obligations, and relationships among shareholders, ensuring clarity and preventing conflicts as the company grows.
