Session on IPR

An interactive session on IPR-Intellectual Property Rights was being organised by AIC-RNTU and CIES, RNTU. The whole session was found to be very useful and interesting by budding and existing entrepreneurs. It covered a thorough discussion on patents, copyright, trademark, industrial designs, geographical indications, the layout design of integrated circuits, undisclosed information (trade secrets), and new plant varieties for entrepreneurs. It also covered the legislative and administrative aspects of IPR in India and other parts of the world.

Objectives in Brief: 1) "Inventor ship is a Right but A Patent is a Grant"
2) "Inventors need patents more than Patents need inventors"
3) "Inventions cannot be judged on patent parameters, but patents have the ability to take inventions very far"
